This is a time of renewal in the automotive world, and as such, you used to receive daily news about new engines that replace other, for reasons of performance, consumption of fuel or simply to provide a greater variety.
That is why this time we have to announce that the SEAT León and SEAT Altea will be adding the new 1.2 TSI engine with 105 hp power, replacing the 102 hp 1.6 engine.
This change is not just a smaller displacement and a slightly higher power but is the product of a series of policies -efficient that adopted major car companies, further reducing the CO2 emissions to the environment.
This engine has a turbocharger, combined with a transmission six-speed manual (also available a box of seven automatic DSG) and manages to reduce consumption by up to 20% compared to the previous edition.
Thus, the SEAT Altea achieves a consumption of 5.3 liters per 100 kilometers, compared to 7.3 liters per 100 Engine 1.6-liter TSI.
In a future version will be available ECOMOTIVE of this engine, which will have a reduction of 0.3 liters per 100 kilometers, compared to the other models.
